Business Description

Development of Software Systems for Command and Control of Electronic Radio Frequency Sensors and Systems, current projects include Networked Electronic Warfare Sensor systems

Projects / tasks

There are 2 available projects :

Project 1 – Spatiotemporal data imputation and forecasting using deep neural networks. The bulk of this project will involve implementing deep neural network architectures that form computationally efficient approximations of Gaussian Processes. Deep learning methods will be compared against classical methods of data imputation such as k-NN.

Project 2 – Integrated into an Agile Software Development team being part of the design and development of Electronic Warfare software capabilities. This project leverages Cloud Native Computing technologies, the student will be exposed to state-of-the-art and industry standard libraries and technologies

Technical skills

Project 1 – Python, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch or TensorFlow (PyTorch preferred).

Project 2 – Either Java, and/or web development technologies (e.g. Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS

Intern interpersonal qualities

Ability to work through problems autonomously and willingness to learn new packages/frameworks as required. Some experience with scientific computing is required, whether through coursework or personal learning.
