Business Description

Manufacturers of Propulsion and gyro stabilization systems,  Submarine Valves and castings,  Ride control foils up to 15 tonnes. Current Defence work includes : Collins Class valves;  Collins Class machinery components;  CPP Propeller assessment and repair; Austal Ride Controls – LCS for USA delivery.

Projects / tasks

  • Develop design and manufacturing documents for a 3 point balancing machine (frigate propeller blades) including procurement and project management
  • Propellers engineered packaging and repurposing design of concept, plastics manufacturing approach, documentation and procurement
  • Propeller semi automated cutting machine development of design for work cell and upgrades to equipment based on initial prototype and testing results
  • 3D printing of foundry tooling utilizing existing printer and also identifying upgrade equipment, technical specification and sourcing

Technical skills

3D CAD modelling and drafting – either NX Unigraphics or Solidworks;  ANSYS experience is ideal but not essential;  Knowledge of G code is ideal but not essential;  Office document and spreadsheets.

Excellent communications and written skills; Highly motivated towards industrial manufacturing, design and automation.
