Projects / tasks:

Current projects involve working on Super hornet and growler pods and Collins submarine light weight replacement structures, Collins submarine new flank array fairings and AWD composite floors.

Technical skills:

Introduction to Aerospace Engineering and Design skills, CAD capabilities, FE modelling (Structural analysis, CFD)

Intern interpersonal qualities:

The ideal intern would be one who is a self-starter, motivated and produces tangible outputs rather than ‘hold down a chair’ for 12 weeks. Practical hands-on design skills are strongly desired. Work autonomously, strong problem solvers, able to communicate with various stakeholders (ie. engineering, production, suppliers, customers)
